Almost 5 years ago, I made the decision to leave the corporate world for good. When I made that decision, I knew it was only a matter of time before I would also be done with native mobile development. My development career had one prevailing theme: Be an early adopter on a technology, get a job in that space and then
move on to something else before it became a complete commodity. My cycle for 'Mobile' will be complete before the year is out. Next month, I'm completely sunsetting my remaining mobile applications. Apologies in advance if this prevents me from doing anything more interesting to discuss. In non-bleeding edge software news... I recently discovered that Threddies' email service provider's Shopify integration has changed and is no longer capturing emails from an edge case that I never built out in my custom solution. This is a fairly high priority item that I need to address soon. Ah the joy's of putting out fires! Not sure how interesting that is to folks, but might be something that you hear more about in the future.
I spent most of the last month concluding and documenting the
